Unable To Connect To Essbase Server

Issue: 

Unable to connect to Essbase Server.

Error Message:

Cause:

The Essbase server will be in down state.

Solution:

Start the Essbase Server Manually.

Steps to Start the Essbase Server Manually:

Step 1: 

Check the essbsae.exe process in Windows Task Manager. It will not be running as shown in the highlighted area of the below screenshot.

Step 2:

Click start, then Programs, then Oracle EPM System, then Essbase, then Essbase Server, and then Start Essbase.

Step 3:

Now check Windows Task Manager, it will be running.
